COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer, inspired by the flavors of Southeast Asian cuisine, is a twist on the classic Belgian witbier style. Instead of the traditional coriander and orange peel spicing regimen, we add fresh lemongrass, ginger root, and a dash of Sorachi Ace hops. The result is a wonderfully refreshing ale with notes of lemon candy, citrus fruit, and a slight spiciness from the ginger. Best served at 45˚F in a tulip or wine glass.

From 12 ounce can purchased at Growlers in Hilton Head Island SC and tasted on July 12, 2012. Cloudy orange/yellow hue, small white head, strong sweet and spicy aroma, moderate to strong sweet/spicy/citrus flavor that is a twist on the classic Belgian witbier style, just like it promises on the can. Interesting brew.

Can pours hazy golden with a large white head. Aroma is nice and pleasant, lemony, spicy with ginger notes, good crisp wheat. The flavor is well done. Very balanced, nice citrus and shove punch, medium dry. Not over spiced. Crisp and drinkable with good carbonation.

Pours a hazy rust orange with white head. A citrus, wheat and yeast aroma. A yeasty taste with citrus, wheat and light spices but a bit watered down. A citrus and light dry yeast aftertaste.

Pours a hazy yellow orange color with an average head at best. Aroma is strong coriander, grass, hay, yeasty, clove, lemongrass, banana, bubblegum. Taste is clove and coriander up front with a very mild malt on the middle of the tongue and lemongrass. Finish is slight hops, carbonation, bubblegum and banana with a weak grass note.

Not has a wit for a while; bit bored of the orange and coriander combo. This variation is great. Yellow gold, hazy and topped with a thin white head. Medium body, wheaty. Lemon first, then lemongrass, apple maybe, then the spice from the ginger. Refreshing and very good.

Hazy , golden color. Big , white head . Aroma of wheat malt, lemongrass , spices and hint of yeasts. Malty taste with citrus and herbal notes , balanced by nice, hoppy bitterness at the end. Interesting version of witbier. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
