Bottled, from Ölbutikken, Copenhagen. Hazy golden, lively head. Woody vinous nose with some marzipan. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Fruity with plenty of pepper, grapes and wood. Mid bitter finish with heating alcohol. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 27, 2012
Bottle 75 cl. Bottle #2. Pours a cloudy opaque golden with a white head. Spicy, dry woody aroma. Medium body, excessive carbonation, a very dry fruitiness and again this very sharp oakiness with some tannins leading to a dry and sharp finish. Again the Westbrook overcarbonation is extremely annoying. 270812 madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUN 2, 2013

Cloudy amber beer, good white head. Palate is fresh and light. Mild crispy carbonation, semi dry. A little creamy malt with a mellow tripel like sweet and spicy vibe. Mild red wine fruits and a little lactose. Touch of wood and minerals. Pretty good but not a patch on the other two wine barrel versions.
