Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are rich wood, brett, yeast, red wine, malt, fruits and hops. Easy drinkable and full bodied. ChainGangGuy (4932) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - FEB 7, 2012
Appearance: Pours a hazed, dusky, dulled amber body with a sudsy, ivory-hued head. Defreni (3303) - Husum, DENMARK - JUN 27, 2012
Smell: Lightly spicy, lightly tannic whiffs of oak barrels still moist with red wine, certainly overtaking the base tripel, though I’m not complaining.
Taste: A soundly sweet taste of brown sugar tossed with pils malts and ground cinnamon. Big splash of lightly tart, lowly tannic, fruity red wine. Also some fruity touches of white peach and pear. Some stunted vanilla. Moderately spicy, though whether it’s from the yeast strain, the barrels, or both will remain a mystery. Drying, still satisfyingly fruity on the finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-plus, reasonably bubbly carbonation.
Overall: Bold wine barrel character, though, overall, a smooth, pleasing beverage.
Flaske: ravfarvet let diset øl med et fint skumhoved. Duften er til start meget præget af vin fadene, nærmest astringent. Smagen sidder lige i skabet. Let krydret trippel der er i den amerikanske stil med en tydelig prægning fra faddene. Dejlig øl. oobawa (1793) - Tennessee, USA - MAR 4, 2012
Lovely bottle from Westbrook. The tripel is dry and spicy, with a grassy middle and a peppery finish, but the red wine character turns the finish into something unique, as the acidity of the grapes mingles with the herbal vanilla of the oak and the Tripel’s inherent sweetness. Very good now; I’m curious what age will do the the beer. jesperhammer (4942) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - SEP 7, 2012

Golden with lasting off-white head.
Fantastic aroma. I am pretty sure that I can nail the barrel as cabernet. Clearly black currant, wood, red-wine like tannins. Taste is again black currant, wine, malt. The tripel is there in form of fruits but well disguised by the barrel aging. This is surprisingly not overcarbonated like most Westbrook I have had. Fantastic beer, especially the aroma.
Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Dark yellow colour. Moderate bitter flavor. Brett or red wine barrel? Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish,. but the balance and brewing effects? Worls Class!!!!! Camons (13385) - Hasselager, DENMARK - APR 7, 2013
Bottle, RB Århus tasting @ Christers. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, grapes, yeast, fruity hops, oak, light vanilla, brett, redwine. Flavor is malt, yeast, brett, wine, grapes, fruity hops, oak, vanilla. Full body, lively carbonation, light alcohol in the finish. Refreshing and wellbalanced beer. 030413 icehawk (876) - Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, USA - JUN 10, 2013
Yeasty, grape, vanilla little funk in the aroma. Good carbonation, and medium body. The combination of wine and oak play well off each other making this a very complex, yet very drinkable beer. Awesome. Theis (15151) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 8, 2012

Cloudy amber beer, good off white head. Nice minerally wine nose. Palate starts crispy and a little dry but turns softer. Lovely fresh wood with a nice winey red berry fruit balance. Really quite winey - woody. Dry finish. Very nice indeed and very drinkable.
