COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
RÖBÄCK är Westerbottens bryggeris hyllning till den brittiska ölkulturen. Här låter vi malten spela huvudrollen, medan humlen får stiga lite åt sidan. Kanske kan den upplevas som lite torrare än vad som är brukligt med mörkare öl. Och kanske har den ett kraftigare skum än vad britterna brukar uppskatta. Å andra sidan – RÖBÄCK är vår variant av en Red Ale.

Pours cloudy dark amber with a low frothy off white head. Aromas of caramel, ripe apple, butterscotch, rye bread. Taste is caramel and bready with light fruity notes. Mouthfeel is light bodied with moderate carbonation.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 3 Oct 2015) Dark red colour with dense, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, black-currant and toffee. Malty taste with caramel, black-currant, toffee, some chocolate and a gentle spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite enjoyable.

A 330ml bottle bought from djoeye and shared with Skinnyviking and Finn. Misty red-brown body. Dissipating beige head, minimal lacing. Smell of dried fruits, some berries and brown malts. Mixed taste of stewed fruits and caramel. Malt-fruity ending. Medium bodied. Pleasing (session at Finns place 07.12.2015).

Bottle at the courtesy of Rune. Low fluffy white lasting head. Hazy brown body. Sweet cocoa aroma. Sweet roasted malt cocoa flavor with mild fruity notes. Fair amount of hops bitterness. High carbonation. Long dry finish.

Flaske 330ml spandert av Rune. Delt med ham og Skinnyviking på Nerstranda 7 Des 15. Mørk amber. Filmskum. Spotlacing. Søt brøddeigaroma med spor av frukt. Smaken bra fyldig. Litt brød. Mørke plommer. Lett søt bitter ettersmak.

Bottle sample at SBWF15. Reddish amber with off white head. Aroma has caramel, toffee, flowers, leafy grassy hops and earthy notes. Taste is slight fruity, dry toffee notes, slight burnt sugar, wood and grassy hay hops and some basementy notes.
