Cask at the Kings Tun JDW. Amber orange, still with the odd bubble, clear, small bubbly white head. Aroma is malty, understated. Body is medium to light, quite smooth but high carbonation for a cask ale. Taste - bready malt, touch of liquorice root, light bitterness. Semi-sweet, slightly astringent. Nothing wrong with it, but pretty average. wheresthepath (2335) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAY 2, 2014
