Cask at The George & Dragon, Chipstead, Kent; brown, thin loose head; taste is crisp and bitter, grassy hops, some lemony fruit; definite sharp bite to this one which I don’t recall especially enjoying.

Cask in the Kings Head W2. Clear bright chestnut brown colour, thick white foam, looks great. Very pleasant easy drinking English bitter, well balanced and pleasantly hoppy. English spicy hops. Very refreshing, a true session beer.

Enjoyed a pint at a pub in Kent in the Summer of 2007. very dark, nice and malty(as I like it), almost sweet. just enough bitterness for me. By far the best bitter I had during my 2 weeks in England. Wish they sold it here in the States.
