Cask at Woollen Mill, Hungry Horse pub, Darlington. Golden colour, white foam head leaving alittle lacing and slight malty yeasty aroma. Taste is malty, some biscuit, with earthy bitterness. Light bodied, soft to medium carbonation, dry light bitter finish. OK. jjsint (2993) - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - JUN 3, 2016
Handpull cask at the Earl of Derby, Cambridge. Badged as a Greene King beer and at a modest 4.1%. Golden copper with a white head and lots of lacing. Smells of stale biscuits. Sweet with a grainy astringency. Cheap lager meets twiggy brown. There’s no excuse for this imbicile of a beer. Achingly poor even by macro standards. dnas2 (705) - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - OCT 3, 2010
