Bottle (German Beer of the Month Club). Strong lactic acid malt aroma - a bit cheese-like. Light yellow with moderate head. Sour milk malt flavor with a white pepper finish. Nice enough. pivnizub (10768) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - MAY 8, 2006
Bottle: Clear, very pale golden coloured with a small, but stable foamy head. Grassy hops in the nose, some sweet malt and a tinge of iron; almost tart bitter flavour, light bodied; light to medium grassy bitterness and a big metallic tinge in the aftertaste. Unpleasant, the hop extracts rule...! A typical bland "slim" Pilsener in the northern-german style. MoritzF (10068) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - MAR 27, 2006
(330ml bottle) Clear, very pale yellow colour with a short foamy white head. Sweet bready and malty aroma with grassy hops and metal. Sweetbitter flavour, medium to light bodied, good carbonated, crispy mouthfeel. Medium sweet malty taste with grassy hops; light to medium bitterness at the end with grassy and herbal hops and a tinge of metal in the aftertaste. Still drinkable but very average, even for a Pils from the Sauerland. Quack-Duck (9490) - Down South, GERMANY - JUN 7, 2008
bottle, thank you pivnizub! Clear pale yellow, medium-sized white head. Hoppy, slightly malty with a shy fruity sourness. A tiny tiny hin t of cardboard is also present. Hoppy finish with hints of grain. Erzengel (9355) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - DEC 13, 2013

500. Pours a hazy pale gold with a loose and sudsy whitish head. Powdered sugar and old wet dish rag on the nose. Watery medium body with somewhat sluggish carb. Shortbread cookie and wet grass on the mid palate. Long nutrasweet finish. jonas (7993) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - APR 9, 2008
Bottle. Fresh, somewhat metallic hop nose. Pale golde, low white head. Medium mushy maltyness, good portion of bittering hops after that. Surprisingly solid body, wellagered sparklyness. Leafy aftertaste. Idiosynkrasie (7848) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - JUL 8, 2015
330ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, strawy aroma, some malty spiciness. Taste is minimally sweet pale malty, grassy and mildly bitter hoppy overtones, slightly metallic finish. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 6, 2013
Bottled. Poured clear, bright golden with a short cap of white head. The aroma picked up lemon zest and grassy notes over a pinch of honey and some bready malts.. clean and refreshing feel to it. The flavor found grainy bread and a kiss of honey at the core.. tangy lemon zest laced throughout.. some white spices and yeasty notes on the edges.. grainy, yet refreshing finish. Light-bodied with low-moderate carbonation on the palate.. just an OK feel and flow.. aiight. caesar (7170) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - FEB 25, 2005
Draft, Willingen, Germany. After a day of skiiing in the German Sauerland, we landed in some restaurant, where they served decent german schnitzels and some beers from this brewery. However, the beer is nothing special. Light yellow color, short white head. Aroma is light hoppy, some wheat. Dry and hoppy taste.
