Draft, Willingen, Germany. After a day of skiiing in the German Sauerland, we landed in some restaurant, where they served decent german schnitzels and some beers from this brewery. However, the beer is nothing special. Light yellow color, short white head. Aroma is light hoppy, some wheat. Dry and hoppy taste. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - AUG 18, 2013
Bottle:   Translucent straw, light carbonation, small frothy white head, spotty lacing.   Grassy nose,
yeasty, dull or stale, a bit bready and musty.   Similar on the tongue, decent malt base, but finishes quick.
Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Dull grassy finish.   Not as bright or crisp as others.   Clean, but very
pedestrian.   Perhaps a bit heavier and more grassy than others.   Needs to be sharper/crisper. vyvvy (6732) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JUN 17, 2012
Pours clear light yellow with a moderate sized white head. Aroma has light dough, light (if any) toast to the malt, bit of spice and very smooth lager. Medium / light crisp body with a light amount sharp carbonation. The flavor begins with pale pils malt, very noticeable spicy noble hop character, pepper and some grassiness. The finish is much more grassy and has a hint of sulfur, but not as much as many pils. Quite nice. jfb (6636) - GERMANY - MAY 22, 2013
(bottle) pours a clear golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of barnyard, cow manure, light brown sugar and rotten peaches, slightly oxidized. flavour is mostly pale malts, straw and barnyard, with a hint of cardboard, a light sweetness and a slightly minerally light-bitter finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation. blutt59 (6579) - Dallas, Texas, USA - DEC 30, 2008

500ml bottle. Pale yellow-tan color. Thin, oily head. The aroma is kind of old and approaches putrid buttery. The body is soft, but the flavor just isn’t there. I’m sure this isn’t the freshest example. Lemony cardboard finish. Not good. dwyerpg (6410) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JAN 22, 2016
A grassy aroma. Flat. This is a pretty poor Pilsner. It's just a bland beer yet kind of heavy joeneugs (6372) - Livermore, California, USA - JAN 7, 2014
Bottle from Babushka Russian deli in Walnut Creek. It pours a crystal clear golden yellow color with a small white head. The aroma is rather simple with some bread and apple juice. Maybe a hint of spicy hops. The flavor is a little better. No skunk here, with a lot of bread. Not much hop flavor and kind of a bland maltiness as well, but nothing bad. Decent body and mouthfeel. A well made brew, but it lacks style and needs a boost in flavor. JPDIPSO (6286) - Wauwatosa, USA - APR 30, 2017
Dry woody malt aromas. Straw color with a small white head. A bit industrial in flavors. Grainy and rather harsh bitterness. Hints of metal also distract. 4/12

500 ml bottle into lager glass, no bottle dating. Pours fairly crystal clear pale straw color with a small white head with decent retention, that reduces to a thin lace that lingers. Minimal lacing clings on the glass, with some moderate streaming carbonation retaining the thin head. Aromas of apple, pear, honey, grape, cracker, bread, floral, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of malt/fruity ester notes with a fair amount of hop presence; and solid strength. Taste of pear, apple, cracker, grape, honey, bread, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of light fruits, cracker, bread, honey, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Nice and pleasant balance of malt/fruity ester flavors with a fair amount of hops; with solid flavor robustness and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth and lightly crisp mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a solid Pilsener. Good balance of malt/hop/fruity ester flavors; and extremely smooth to drink. A pleasantly enjoyable offering.
