Davhgbrew's rating

   AROMA 7/10   APPEARANCE 4/5   TASTE 6/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 14/20
Davhgbrew (948) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 22, 2014
Pours clear and golden. Lively carb appearance like a pilsner. Aroma of hay and hops. Sips medium and mild banana clove. Not overly yeasty, bready, or banana’y. Just a solid middle of the road weizen. Not ordered very much at all at wob, but it shouldn’t be overlooked. Very decent brew.

JPDIPSO (6223) - Wauwatosa, USA - APR 30, 2017
Cloudy, straw colored liquid with a moderate sized off-white head. Aromas of mild wheat, and faded scents of bananas, and citrus. Flavors of wheat and ever so mild flavors of flavors of cloves, light fruit and white bread. I could see this a a summer quencher, but really does little to satisfy the tongue. 4/12

Gehbe (444) - Vilnius, LITHUANIA - APR 22, 2017
Bottle. Cloudy straw with a big white head, no lacing. Typical hefeweizen aroma, but rather weak, and the banana and clove are not very pronounced. Light soursweet taste. Milky body, high carbonation, somewhat watery. Refreshing but forgettable.

Many thanks for this beer to Erzengel. Pours a cloudy gold in colour with a nice head, wheat and yeasty in the aroma, a yeasty tast

Erzengel (8743) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - SEP 9, 2016
Bottle bought in Marsberg. Fresh and smooth mild beginning. Nice clove and yeasty sweetness, Like the "Weizen Dunkel" without the chocolaty touch, intense mild, nice spicy clove with a round and smooth yeast. Very refreshing and rich. Nice brew!

obguthr (6354) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - AUG 26, 2016
Caramel, graham cracker, and honey nose. Hazy amber, medium head. Honey, biscuity flavor. Mild doughy finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Fantastic aroma.

seuinoz (257) - Glen Ellyn, Illinois, USA - APR 6, 2016
Aroma is of bread dough old wet cardboard. Appearance is a typical weizen beer cloudy yellow color.Taste like wet moldy cardboard. Maybe not fresh or light struck. Palate not pleasant.

DandyWolfFloyd (1202) - Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 23, 2016
Aroma - wheat, caramel, honey, and some cereal. Appearance - body is a hazy maize color, with good nucleation. The head is white and 2+" and settles into a nice foam layer. Taste - has a blend of wheat and caramel malt. Classic hefeweizen yeast, not as prominent as other varieties of the style. Palate - medium body, soft texture, soft carbonation, and slightly tannic finish.

drdisque (840) - Illinois, USA - MAR 1, 2016
22oz bottle poured in a stein. Mild raw grain aroma. Flavor is exceedingly sweet with some banana notes. Wet, sweet finish. Subpar hefeweizen.

dwyerpg (6182) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - JAN 20, 2016
A lot more malt in the aRoma than banana which I like. Very cloudy in appearance. The flavor is pretty goodbut not particularly memorable, a decent beer
