(Bottle)I am surprised at the low ratings of this beer; I thought this was exceptional; it was both the best Zwickelbier I've tried, and the best German beer I've tried from a bottle in the U.S. Perfectly balanced flavor, very subtle. Little hop presence, very cloudy in appearance. Lightly sweet and lightly bitter, extremely smooth, leaving a very clean finish. I loved how I felt after drinking it too.

stevoj (5440) - Boise, Idaho, USA - MAY 11, 2017
Bottle from Tres Bonne Cuisine. Hazy, medium amber, small, tight, creamy head. Malty aroma, cheese, funk. Taste is also malty, kind of sweet, cooked vegetables flavors. Not spectacular, but nice textures throughout.

Frisch aus der Flasche getrunken (Direktlieferung). Leicht trübes Dunkelgelb mit stabilem weißem Schaum. Mild malzig mit guter Karbonisation.

solidfunk (9366) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - MAY 7, 2016
Easy drinking and good for style. Light butter aroma. Soft barley presence. Clean finish. Bottle from franklins.

This is another unremarkable beer from these guys. It's light and easy to drink but boring.

Fredis23 (568) - Hickory Hills, Illinois, USA - JAN 9, 2016
Murky Light Brown, Huge Head, Light Spotty Lacing. Virtually No Aroma, If there is Anything, then it is light Skunk. Sweet, Honey, Grain, Bread. Drinkable. Just OK. Pass It...

Idiosynkrasie (7854) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - JUN 22, 2015
330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, orangey, deep golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy and spicy yeasty aroma, some husk, a protein touch. Taste is minimally sweet grainy, malty, minimally tart with a touch of lactic acid, strawy overtones, a spicy touch of hay.

ccex (1354) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 27, 2015
500ml bottle pours a cloudy dark golden color with large fluffy white head that lasts and leaves some lacing. Aroma is not strong on the nose, but has honey, grass, and bread, which come out much stronger in the flavor. Taste is slightly sweet with a drier finish. Body is medium without too much carbonation. Mouthfeel is crisp. Very pleasant and refreshing. I could drink these all night long if I had to.
