Bottle @ home. Finale breve, pulito quasi secco.

westmalle makes such simple and beautiful beer. a balanced dark malt flavour with sweet boozy undertones that refuse to overpower the palate. smells of caramel apple and fresh bread, which translates into a lasting pleasant aftertaste.

Pours a very dark brown with a off white head that lasts well. Is a very sweet fruity beer and very typically Belgian

Deep, rich and fruity, but never overly so. Lingering taste of raisins on the palate. Very nice to sniff and quaff over a long afternoon.

Bottle. Dark brown, hazy with small, beige but long lasting head, not good lacing. Mainly aromas of Dark fruits with some caramel sweet tones. Not very strong but very stable. Taste is sweet, with strong caramel flavors and balanced with medium bitterness in the finish. Pleasant oily mouthfeel and right carbonation. Very good.
