From Belgium in a Box. In La Trappe chalice. Playing Terra Incognita Ch1. Really good. Dry and efervescent, with a delicious spicy and apple-like touch. Great feeling for such low ABV. Jerre (3766) - Waregem, BELGIUM - APR 26, 2008
From bottle 33 cl. Today @ Alvinne’s tasteroom and beershop.
Wonderfulf stuff. Hazy gold-yellow color, with good white head.
Aroma fruits, fresh and hops.
Medium body. Taste fruits, hops, good bitterness. Bit dry mouthfeel, for me my favourite Westmalle beer.
Even good as Westvleteren blond.

Dobre piwo z niewielka pianka, jaskrawym i metnym kolorze. Smak bardzo kwaskowy, cytryna, a zwlaszcza limonka. Wytrawne lekkie i orzezwiajace. Smaczne i nietypowe jak na przyzwyczajenie smakowe Belgii. Polecam bo to prawdziwe i uczciwe piwo mkobes (2142) - paramus, New Jersey, USA - MAR 12, 2006
Bottle @ Delirium Cafe. Yellow and cloudy in color with a nice lacing. Aroma is yeasty, hoppy and spicey. Coriander notes. Malty and hoppy flavor. Orangey and citrusy. Finish is sweet. Very nice. Medium bodied. HumuloneRed (751) - Portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 31, 2006
Thanks to Dan & Joelle (DewBrewer) for sharing this treasure. 33cl. Bottle. Pours a hazy pale. The nose is flowery and kind of pine-like with some bread dough. The flavor has pine, citrus, earth with flowers in the mix as well. Very effervescent and slightly acidic in the finish and just enough bitterness to round it all out. Great beer.

UPDATED: OCT 10, 2007 A very nice beer made only for the monks. I could also taste it from 6 years old.Not a beer to keep but still worth drinking. darkseduction (754) - Zweibrücken, GERMANY - JUN 11, 2008
Bottle 33cl. Pours a cloudy blond coloured brew with a huge white head. Very fresh, citrus, mango, ananas and lemongrass nose. Taste first grassy like japanese green tea, light body and texture, dry hoppy but seductive finish. Belgian yeast taste, amazing spring water, an impressive composition. A masterpiece. UPDATED: MAY 3, 2010 Bottle. Pours a mostly clear very pale golden with a nice fluffy sticky white head and great lace. Aroma is just full of bready and doughy pilsner malts- incredibly fresh with a zesty floral hop character. Lightly grassy hop flavor with tons of crisp to the bone pale pilsner malts-fresh baked french bread, and light lemony zest in the middle and end. Finishes lively on the tongue with tons more malt and fresh hops. Incredible. FeDo2010 (18) - , NETHERLANDS - JUN 12, 2010
Shared this bottle with PapaEugene during our beer drinking session last evening. Was quite eager to try this one, because it is the table beer of the Westmalle Monks, and is normally not for sale (besides on draft in the beer pub attached to the Westmalle Brewery).
Poured into an Urthel glass. The beer pours a dark gold-yellow color, with a smooth, bright-white head that was relatively long lasting.
The scent is like fresh fruits (apple), a bit floral and some tones of sweetness.
The taste is completely different from the scent. Wow, quite cool for such a light beer. The taste in not at all as fruity as the smell suggested. Sweet honey, spicy hops and a great, very well balanced acidity and bitterness in the end.
The mouthfeel is very light, but also very good, with medium-low carbonation. Light and drinkable.
Overall, a surprisingly tasteful beer for a Trappist table beer. Again the Trappist brewers prove, that the best beers are not too complex, are well balanced because of a long lasting history, and especially don’t need too many ingredients! Simpl(y)e the best! I want more.... boFNjackson (4201) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 17, 2011
Bottle (thanks belgbeergeek)... Poured golden with a white head. Bone dry palate, some sweetness and honey tones with a light hop character, wheat and cereal grains, yeast spiciness, with that honey sweetness creeping back up in the finish.
