COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A strong, dry and spicy trappist ale. The product of a secondary fermentation lasting 5 weeks. This is a complex ale with a fruity aroma and a nice nuanced hop scent. It is soft and creamy in the mouth, with a bitter touch carried by the fruity aroma. An exceptional ale, with a great deal of finesse and elegance, and with a splendid long after taste.

330 ml bottle, served in tulip glass. Fantastic hops aroma. Yeasty, fruity and floral. Great bitter taste, probably the reference for a Belgian Tripel. Lively carbonation. Golden colour. One of my favourites!

Appearance: Cloudy rich golden hue with a thick white frothy head that dissipates leaving a moderate lacing. Nose: Plentiful notes of banana, clove peppercorn and more, not to mention that classic Belgium yeast aroma!. Taste Delightful fruit flavors touch of bready malts and spice to balance it out. Feel: Smooth and lively carbonated, with a touch of alcohol. Another classic from the monks of Belgium! The cat said, "Yummy!" . #365beers1year #B

11.2oz bottle. Smells like vanilla, orange, flowers. Excellent carbonation and color, tons of sediment. Taste wheat, apple, orange rind, honey, grass, fresh-cut wood, bit of herb and vegetable spice. Unbelievably smooth, bit of oily feel, physically satisfying (weird right). Top notch drink, as with all the other Trappistes, I only wish Westmalle made a quad!

UPDATED: JAN 20, 2017 Złocista barwa, wysoka piana średniopęcherzykowa. Aromat słodowy, przyprawowy, drożdżowy, owocowy - rodzynki, jakby winogrona. Momentami pojawia się nuta alkoholowa. W smaku rwnież słodowo. Są wyraźne przyprawy, ktre nadają lekkiej cierpkości. Wysycenie wysokie. Niestety wyczuwalny alkohol i to chyba największa wada. Piwo w odbiorze dość ciężkie, na pewno na niekorzyść zadziałał wspomniany alkohol, szczeglnie na finiszu

Apple, spices and a touch of banana on the nose. Pours a semi-cloudy gold with visible particulates and a small white head. Taste of spice, alcohol, banana and bread with a bitter, dry finish. Really very good.

UPDATED: JAN 20, 2017 330 ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange-golden with a huge, rather stable coarse white head. Rather mild aroma, ripe pear, spices (cinnamon, star anise) some alcohol with some leathery yeast. Full body with a lively carbonation and a heavy sweetness. Very rich flavor full of sweet malt, molasses, caramel along with overripe apples and pears, banana, some alcohol and a dry bitter finish.
