COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A strong, dry and spicy trappist ale. The product of a secondary fermentation lasting 5 weeks. This is a complex ale with a fruity aroma and a nice nuanced hop scent. It is soft and creamy in the mouth, with a bitter touch carried by the fruity aroma. An exceptional ale, with a great deal of finesse and elegance, and with a splendid long after taste.

Bottle (9,5%). Pours golden with medium, dense and creamy head. Aroma is an explosion of sweetness, herbal notes and hay. Taste is caramel, citrus, honey well balanced with a sting of alcohol. Sweet finish. Excellent beer!

Westmalle Tripel pours a hazy amber color with a white head of medium-long lifetime. The bouquet brings citrus, apricot, flowers, pepper, as well as white wine to mind and is backed up by a scent of alcohol. After the semi-dry and yeasty attack, the brew undergoes a smooth and complex transition through notes of bitter lemon zest, grape seeds, greenish banana, spices, and flowers on the mid-palate and leaves a long-lived, dry-sour-bitter finish with soothing warmth from the alcohol behind. The thick viscosity and medium-high carbonation round out the complex interplay of notes. A classic for a reason.

UPDATED: AUG 22, 2017 disappointing was my first thought, was hoping for more flavor and aroma. it is, however, an interesting beer, strong and light at the same time, and a little bit sweet. the head is gorgeous and lasts a very long time.

Piwo barwy złocistej z wysoką białą pianą. W aromacie brzoskwinia, białe winogrona, goździki, lekka przyprawowość, delikatny biszkopt, banan, gdzieś z tyłu subtelnie landrynkowe. W smaku wytrawne, ziołowe, przyprawowe, brzoskwiniowe, bananowe, goździkowe. Fajne piwko. Mi ta "nudna belgia" chyba nigdy się nie znudzi :).

On bottle @Ølfred - Aarhus Streetfood Pours hazy yellow with small white foam. Lots of co2, very fruity with a long hoppy aftertaste. Easy drinkable, though a high ABV.

Westmalle tripel is a little bit too heavy for a triple ale for me. I need more balance. I taste the alcohol... But its creamy in the mouth as it is written. Nice aroma, but I need more. Good with steak, cheese, fruits... I think that women wont like it... it is a really hard trappist ale. For example Tripel Karmeliet is more drinkable and in comparison with rochefort 10, which is QUADRUPEL and 11+ degrees - this westmalle tripel is heavier. Rochefort is more drinkable.

UPDATED: AUG 15, 2017 Flot, gylden, lidt uklar i glasset. Let parfumeret i næsen. God fylde, man fornemmer den høje alkoholprocent, uden at det bliver sprittet. Halvtør afrunding. Solid trappistøl.
