4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours slightly hazy golden with a massive fluffy head that has superb retention. Smell of sweet caramel and malts, yeasty banana, spices, citrus and honey. Taste starts sweet and earthy, bitter builds up into an extremely long aftertaste. In the meantime, the fruits, citrus, spices and yeast make an appearance. Strong carbonation. Aftertaste is dry, bitter and long. Well balanced. Brilliant trappist beer.
Golden ale with thin head. Banana aroma. Taste of over-ripe bananas with a touch of spice and bitterness, sweet with plenty of alcohol. Lovely. loscovar (591) - Trieste, ITALY, Villeneuvette, FRANCE - SEP 15, 2017
Bottle from la superette à bieres. Wow that is a killer berlgian triple! Nice balanced of yeast, malts, and tradition! Deser (20) - Brussels, BELGIUM - SEP 14, 2017
Mother of all Belgian triples, a true reference. This golden triple with its typical dense white foam is a true delight. Try it on different temperatures (8-14°C), this affects the slightly banana/fruity aromas from the esters. In Top 3 of all time. biilz (117) - SPAIN - SEP 11, 2017
Porcellini (44) - Barcelona, SPAIN - SEP 8, 2017
Color anaranjado. Aroma algo afrutado y sabor complejo, puede que con notas de plátano y albaricoque. Espuma blanca y densa. Final suave.

Very good Tripel, full range of flavors, complex, yet balanced, one of the better of its kind. jobe977 (132) - Töreboda, SWEDEN - SEP 3, 2017
Bottle (9,5%). Pours golden with medium, dense and creamy head. Aroma is an explosion of sweetness, herbal notes and hay. Taste is caramel, citrus, honey well balanced with a sting of alcohol. Sweet finish. Excellent beer! Schnabelhund (106) - TAIWAN - SEP 2, 2017
Westmalle Tripel pours a hazy amber color with a white head of medium-long lifetime. The bouquet brings citrus, apricot, flowers, pepper, as well as white wine to mind and is backed up by a scent of alcohol. After the semi-dry and yeasty attack, the brew undergoes a smooth and complex transition through notes of bitter lemon zest, grape seeds, greenish banana, spices, and flowers on the mid-palate and leaves a long-lived, dry-sour-bitter finish with soothing warmth from the alcohol behind. The thick viscosity and medium-high carbonation round out the complex interplay of notes. A classic for a reason. saintbase2 (823) - Bydgoszcz, POLAND - AUG 23, 2017

UPDATED: AUG 22, 2017 disappointing was my first thought, was hoping for more flavor and aroma. it is, however, an interesting beer, strong and light at the same time, and a little bit sweet. the head is gorgeous and lasts a very long time.
