Seriously, heed the warnings - this one’s explosive upon opening. But the half-beer I salvaged was great! Farmhouse-y, herbal aroma is complemented by a funky, sour candy taste with a rounded sweetness. Great balance of sweetness, tartness, and yeast. Bottle, 330 ml. Exploded on opening (oops). Pours very very cloudy dark amber/orange with (explosion aside) a large amount of frothy, dense, off-white head. Lacing is very thick thick and there’s no carb visible (though this has been settling for a bit). Very juicy looking and head retains forever. Nose is strongly fruity and sour; lots of ripe green apple, citrus, pineapple, bit of champagne, floral, garden notes. Some sweeter stuff going on underneath; candied fruits, sugar, banana esters, clove. Musty, whiff of resinous hops, no booze. All working very well so far! Taste is initially sweet and juicy with more pineapple, light honey before a hefty hit of sour in the middle, opening up a whole basket of fruity flavours including the aforementioned pineapple, lemon, grapefruit, green apple, several varieties of melon (honeydew and watermelon most prominent) and a bit of blood orange towards the end. The sour astringency continues into the finish to join with a fairly potent grapefruit bitterness and lingering cereal and melon. Throughout there’s a bit of spice (mostly clove and coriander) and belgian yeast, though this isn’t too prominent. Body is medium-full, texture is thick and sticky, carbonation is moderate finish is fairly crisp and dry but long and bitter. Fantastic array of fruity flavours combining with a hefty sourness make this a seriously refreshing brew despite the 8% ABV (which is completely hidden taste-wise). Just wish I hadn’t lost half of it upon opening!

Couleur cuivre assez pâle , plutôt trouble avec un brillance moyenne .
Mousse raisonnable avec un jolie col bien dense .
Au nez : c’est fruité, un peu d’acidité , un peu vineux type champagne à voir en bouche .
En bouche : c’est très aromatique , un peu de fruit comme des fruis en grappes type raisin blanc ce qui donne la sensation vineuse type champagne.
Petit note d’acidité assez agréable !
Belle longueur et belle équilibre , assez long en bouche !

0.33l bottle courtesy of and shared with ClubGonzo. Pours a hazygolden orange body with a small off-white sidesticking head. Aroma ls light champagne-yeasty, lots of candi sugar and some mild dried fruit. Quite sweet. Average to soft carbonation and has a mild oily to sticky mouthfeeling. Also really sweet in flavor with more of that nice candid sugar, some yeast and it has some light alcohol in the finish.
