Hazy amber color, with generous, compact head. The aroma presents some typical Belgian yeast spiciness, mild, and some delicate fruitiness. Correct body strength; the malt flavor is not impressive, but at least it’s a bit sweet and spicy; there is a trace of vegetables, and the bitterness is on an average level (or high for a Belgian beer). Correct brew.
Hell alkoholischer Antrunk, leichte Gewürznoten. Minimal herb, dumpf, intensiver werdend. Langweilig, leicht getreidig. 11/7/7/6/7/6 Theydon_Bois (19718) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAR 24, 2013

Gusher Alert ... Lost 20/25 % of this one !
Hazed orange amber with a big light beige frothy head - good lacing ensues.
Nose is orange peel, citrus, yeast, spice - corriander, candied sugars, rye bread.
Taste lacks a little depth for an 8% beer, drinkable none the less with pale malt, yeast, citrus, spice, lemon, corriander, rye, caramel, sugars.
Full end of medium bodied, fine carbonation - pitched perfectly, smooth on the palate.
A decent enough triple but no world beater. rlgk (18850) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAY 15, 2012

Draught at Belgobaren, Stockholm. Hazy golden beer, white head. Candy and fruit aroma. Sweetish flavor, yeasty, candy and with fruity notes.
33cl bottle enjoyed at home after Man Utd beat Chelsea to all but win their record 19th championship. Funny I thought I had this at ACBF but obviously not. Clear orange amber colour with lasting white head. Well what am I expecting? Another highly drinkable beer I am guessing. Sweet sherbert and apricot aroma. Hop and apricot aroma. Enticing aroma. In terms of carbonation and mouthfeel it is all bar perfect. Yes more apricot flavour in the mouth. Some hop sting on the finish. A decent fruity Belgian strong with great mouthfeel. Almost in tripel country. Apricot fruit is pretty good. Opens up as you drink it. The mix of apricot jam and touches of honeyed syrup are extremely enticing. Touch of tangerine on the finish. As it went down the more I enjoyed it. The fruit really is immaculate. Overall I will remember this for the impressive apricot jammy flavour and huge drinkability in the mouth. 19.11.13 Bottled 330ml Saveur. BB 11/2017. Copper-amber color, good foamy white head - the bottle was gushing a bit. Berries in the nose, some bretta-like tartness, some caramel. Medium-bodied. Flavor has light bretta, caramel. Fruity, apricot-mango, passion fruit candy. Drinkable yes, Belgian yes, but not among the best Struises.
