Courtesy of Strykzone. Poured nearly black with a tan head and good lacing. Nose of coffee and chocolate. Full body. Smooth mouth feel. Flavor has dark ripe fruit, coffee and chocolate. Finishes with some bitterness and the fruit. Very nice beer and quite enjoyable to drink. edgallow (4211) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - MAY 15, 2015

Sampled at ESBLS. Dark brown with some amber. A smoky ashy coffee aroma. Dark fruit flavor to start. That ash and coffee, too. Quite nice, actually. BOSSbrewer (2705) - Arkansas, USA - FEB 28, 2015

Bottle. Pretty much the expected visuals, if but for a thinner head than expected. Drinking this thing is like chewing on cocoa nibs ... pow! Full on baking chocolate, bitter and chalky, not really "sweet" the way Americans would define it. (#5865, 11/20/2014) HuskerTan (2202) - Ravenna, Nebraska, USA - NOV 2, 2014
A- Cola, subtle coffee, tobacco, robust, subtle smoke.
A- Black color, dark brown liquid, tan head.
T- Cola, coffee, burnt caramel, tobacco, malty, slightly bitter, roasty.
P- Full body, slightly thin texture, medium carbonation, robust finish.
O- A surprisingly good porter from a brewer I’ve never heard of from a small town I’ve never heard off. Lots of cola and coffee notes in the aroma and taste. A very good representation. EtTuCthulhu (1391) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - SEP 3, 2014
The appearance of this beer is a slightly hazy reddish dark brown with a small light tan head that fades somewhat quickly. The aroma blends dark chocolate, roasted and caramel malts, and a hint of coffee beans and possibly vanilla; the taste is similar with its slight malt bitterness, slightly sweetness, and touch of umami. The finish is quite roasty and malty, and it has a thin texture, medium body, and a soft carbonation as well. Overall, I’m surprised that Weston made this beer because it is quite solid. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JUN 30, 2014
