sulawang (1172) - - MAR 11, 2014
Visual: Pours light golden yellow, initially with lots of fizz, no head retention at all, no activity, a barren wasteland. Nose: oaked filtered apple juice, some sour/tanginess, minor funk (4/10-pungency) Attack: watery, sour Mid-palate: almost salty, light tingly-crisp, (5/10)-fruity sweetness, (MAIN) lots of oak, very yeasty, mellow apple flavour Finish: lager-like crisp sweet oaked apple finish. Summary: Drinks like a semi-sweet oaked apple flavoured lager. The oakiness really stands out but other than that, it’s quite unexciting.

Flaske 0,33l. Gave fra Fin, Loz & Isobel. Delt med Rune under rateseanse i H9 1 Okt 13. Lys gylden. Lavt skum som flater raskt ut. God eplearoma. Smaken er også eple. God - men uvariert. Alkoholen er godt kamuflert.

JEK69 (396) - FRANCE - JAN 25, 2014
Bottle 2012 from Tesco: Sour and bitter, earthy and old oak. Apple flavours are not clean and fresh. However the ensemble shows a kind of unity when the purpose is a rustic strong cider with a low carbonation and a sweet finish. Average

SarkyNorthener (4709) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - NOV 17, 2013
Bottle from tesco. Very pale yellow cider. Aroma of apple. Taste is medium dry, lots of apple flavours and some wood. Not pumped full of sweetener like a lot of other commercial ciders. Decent.

mike_77 (6876) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - NOV 17, 2013
Very pale colour. Light wood in the aroma. Quite a sweet one with just a touch of woody dryness. Low carbonation, smooth and a bit buttery.

garthicus (2934) - Dublin, IRELAND - OCT 7, 2013
2011 bottle. Appearance: light orange/yellow. Zero head. Aroma: quite ’scrumpy’ , fresh apples, a little wood, tart. Flavour: fresh apples, somewhat smokey, wood (oak), bacon, weird. Not that those flavours are bad, just that they’re unexpected. A smokey cider. Hmm.
