At the Royal Standard of England, nr Beaconsfield. Clear, almost no colour (just the slightest hint of green). Slight fizz, but very thin. Equally light on the flavour, which given what the flavour’s like (artificial pear flavour with a hint of detergent) is probably just as well. Sweetish, although not excessively so. A dismal, dumbed-down perry for the alcopop generation. KyotoLefty (10610) - Kyoto, JAPAN - MAR 7, 2013
From the box at Full Monty. Light nose, pear, apple. Pale clear yellow color, flat. Medium to light body, quite sweet, ok. Not a whole lot going on.

A very natural, but rather incipid perry. Gutless, but a good party chugger. Had this right after a nasty Estonian cider and perry, and the naturalness of the taste of this was astonishing in contrast to the others. Very close connection to pears, but also close to pear juice. Needs more balls.
