500ml bottle. 2015 vintage. Pours clear pale yellow, minimal head stays as ring for seconds. Looks almost flat, no bubbles. Sweet ripe apple, hints of apple vinegar in aroma. Bit tannin, sweet apple, medium soursweet, apple skins in taste. Long aftertaste. Medium bodied, below average carbo, rather well covered alco. Easily drinkable, tastefull everyday cider. Bottle from Lidl, Mirfield. Paler yellow coloured cider. Its strength is hidden somewhat, with its apple dryish tasting, but also with a small sweetness to it. Its aroma also contains the sweetness found in the apple. GoufCustom (2122) - HONG KONG - MAR 13, 2016

500 ml bottle as "Westons Oak Aged Medium Dry Cider" bought at Market Place by Jason’s in K11, Tsim Sha Tsui.
Very light golden yellow colour; Near zero head with residual soapy white foam which fades in 10 seconds; Fair sticky lacing with active, sparing slow carbonation; Fragrant aroma of apple wine and juice, with strong barrel, fair mustiness, strong yoghurt tartness, oxidized apple flesh, alcohol, light sugar and light tannic; Mid to light sweet taste of apple wine, with moderate alcohol, light apple juice, yoghurt tartness, wood barrel, sugar and fair tannic; Light body. Watery palate; Mouth feel is pretty winey in a watery background. More alcoholic, sweeter and dryer than “Westons Medium Sweet”, and with fairly good tartness, much less carbo, lighter barrel and tannin. The emphasis is on the booze, pleasant enough and not too dry. Okay... Quite dry after taste. Sweet, quite boozy and tart to mouth.
Comments: This is the boozier version of “Westons Medium Sweet Cider” – body is thin, lesser influence on barrels and tannins, but the nice apple core aroma and basic sweetness is still there. The dryness lend a welcome crispyness for enjoyment. Not the best but enjoyable enough.
Golden colour. Aroma of apples. Sweet apple flavour, hint of wood. Finish light wood, apple, cigar box. Not bad - just not great either.harrisoni (19165) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JUL 4, 2015
(from 50cL bottle @ Chris and Ruth’s place, post-RBESG ’14 tasting)
Bottle from Lidl and drunk on a train. As Oak Aged Medium Dry Cider. Like all Westons ciders very drinkable. Apple juice but with some character. Some sweetness but not too much. Not particularly dry either. Fine.

50cl. Last years crop. Full of flavour, not acidic, not too sweet and not to dry. Beautiful golden, fith soft carbonation. A go to cider on my list. Benzai (16522) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - AUG 18, 2014
Bottle shared at ChrisO. Clear orange golden color, no head. Smell and taste apple, quite sweet, lightly apple pie, moderately dry. Erasmus_ro (3133) - Alabama, USA - OCT 26, 2013
Taster from a bottle. Pours a light golden yellow with a lot of sparkling bubbles and not much of a head. Aroma is oak, apple, semi dry, some apple skin, light sour. Taste follows along the same lines. Oakiness is stronger. Full and rather carbonated. will1 (140) - Hampshire, ENGLAND - MAR 24, 2012
Lightly sparkling, sour aroma initially becomes more complex. Very slight hints of oak (or at least a woodiness) to the scent. Fairly sweet for a medium dry, quite syrupy on the tongue. Not bad. worldbeertaste (1806) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAR 3, 2012
Sharp smell of sour apple. Light pale gold with no head. Medium dry palate. Not too much carbonation. Tastes the way it smells. Dry with medium sour. Sweet vinegar. Whatever.
