Bottle shared with a bunch of folks at Doug’s - courtesy of Doug. Golden colour with a mild haziness. Aroma is musty and funky, really neat. Flavour is soft and mellow, with some mild funkiness behind the apple flavour. Not sure if that funkiness was intentional, but it added an interesting note to an otherwise standard cider, so I’m not gonna complain.
Stowford Press Export is sadly no longer available in the UK. It was my favourite Cider. Very easy to drink and refreshing. If it is available anywhere I’d love to know. fdomig (1055) - München, GERMANY - MAY 8, 2015
500ml on tap at Irish Folk Pub Munich. Aroma is apple from the keg. Appearance is clear golden with a light white foam. Tater is sweet and light bitter. Nice cider. Singularity (6383) - Blattniksele, SWEDEN - OCT 13, 2014
On tap at Orvars. Golden with coarse white head. Aroma and taste has tart apples, sweet notes and wood. Not too exciting Reimer96 (1778) - Alberta, CANADA - APR 27, 2014
Pours a clear golden color with a small white head and tiny effervescent bubbles. Aroma of tart apples mixed with sweet apples with some wood aromas. Taste is a good mix of tart and sweet apple never cloying of being too sweet or juice like. Dry finish with a bright acrid flavor. Excellent cider to drink all night. Pours a golden color with a wispy head that fades away while a few rising bubbles persist. sulawang (1217) - - SEP 4, 2013
The aroma is tart & appley, only lightly sweet with some earthy funkiness.
The flavor is tart and a touch sweet up front with good apple flavor all around. This one skips the apple candy thing altogether. The finish is dry and the cider has a good bright acidity. A bit clean, but real fine all around.
I’m guessing that my palate for English ciders must be immature and/or out of whack... because to me this is fantastic, and it’s not the first time I’ve been so against the grain on one of these ciders.

Sampled from the tap at Blackheart. Pours a clear pale gold with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has notes of sweet apple with some hearty earthy apple undertones. Flavor starts sweet with apple and a hint of roast with a good amount of earthiness. wlajwl (7289) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - OCT 22, 2012
