Bottled version - 2006 version with 8.2% alcohol %. Tart and champagne like apple aroma. Typical cider appearance, light golden colour and highly carbonated. Sharp and bitter appleskin flavour with a slightly warming bitter finish. Decent cider.
April 2017 - 500ml bottle shared at home with Teresa watching ’Night of the Hunter’. As ’Waitrose English Vintage Cider’, 7.3%. Pale yellow with a slight green hue, lightly sparkling, no head at all. Aroma is musty, vibrant green apple, plasticine, a touch of lime. Quite nice. Body is smooth with soft to tingly carbonation, tooth coating sugars. Taste is green apple, Apple Sourz, sour apple sweets, sugary, some gooseberry. A bit on the sweet side, and brought down by the horrible effect it has on your teeth, but still pretty easy drinking. 500ml Waitrose, English Vintage Cider Vintage 2015, bbMar2019. - A cider with the edges filed off, both at the top fruit sugars and the lemony zing. Good sessionable apple juice, a large batch sulphury edge adn natural enough - but it does not make most of its 7,3% in terms of character...falls flat on its watery ass with food. 500ml bottle (Waitrose, Harpendon)gegwilson (3676) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - APR 17, 2017
Gently woody sharp cider aroma. More balls in the taste, clear sharpness, and green appleskins. Drying almost numbing finish, tingles nicely. Maybe a bit thin, maybe a bit pale, but a very pleasant clear cider. Alcohol pretty well hidden. Solid.
Bottle from Waitrose. Pours blond with a little white froth. Nice sweet dessert apple flavour. A little oak in the finish. Refreshing and very easy to drink. deanso (10070) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - MAR 26, 2017
Bottle via my brother.

Bottle, 500ml (2014 Vintage). *** Colour: Bright yellow golden, clear, no head. ***
Nose: Ripe apples, vinegar. A hint of vanilla. ***
Mouthfeel: Medium body, hardly watery. Soft carbonation. ***
Taste: Sweet and sour apples at first, some vanilla, mild oak. Oak gets stronger in the semi-dry middle, again some vanilla. Dry, mildly sour finish, with a softening vanilla note. Aftertaste of musty apples and light oak. ***
Impressions: You would never know that this cider is 8.2% ABV. Smooth, with very moderate oakiness and vanilla, medium-sweet apples. Not quite as much depth as one might have expected, but a well-balanced, superior cider. olliejobbins (1578) - Dorking, Surrey, ENGLAND - OCT 6, 2015
500ml bottle from waitrose as waitrose vitnage cider 2014. Pours a clear gold with no bubbles. Aroma is tart apples and cider vinegar. Minimal carbonation. Acidic apple. Dry. A combination of a sweet and tart finish. bhensonb (15093) - Woodland, California, USA - SEP 26, 2015
Bottle from the Waitrose on Glouscter Road. 2014 Vintage. Pours pale gold with a few bubbles. Aroma is very light - suggests apple vinegar? Nope. It’s just a little bit oaky. Funny how that came into the aroma. Finishes less than dry, but it’s very pleasant. Theydon_Bois (19198) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - SEP 20, 2015
Bottle at home, as Waitrose vintage cider 2014, 20/09/15.
