Dark red-brown Trappist, sweet aroma with hints of dried fruit, nuts and caramel. Personally, I find this one superior to it’s big brother.

Bottle. Hazy, dark amber to mahogany, medium off-white head. Aroma of honey, pears, chestnuts, propolis, hips, cherries and another fruits. Taste is sweet, a bit tart. Cherries, propolis, berries, spicy tones, dark honey, alcohol. Full body, fizzy carbonation.
Tasty, well balanced.

Bottle 0.33l from ad adamnowek. Thanks Adam for this bottle finally to taste Number 8. Best before datd 28.09.19. Taste with Jezza pre-birthday beer 19.11.2017. Pour it dark brown color with medium white head. Aroma spices, pinch of 5 spice note. Taste negro candy, sweet, Belgian yeast carachter, spice at the end, after taste really candy. Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Dark brown with big beige head. Light roast, figs, caramel, toffee, dry cocoa, raisins, brown sugar, cookies that were in the oven too long, light oxidized notes, red wine, brown bread, dried plums and apple. Quite fruity in a dried and soft oxidized way. Over medium sweet and medium bitter. Almost full bodied with quite some carbonation. More sublime than what I got. Rose aroma with prunes and a touch of smoky leather. Cloudy brown pour. Light sweet finish. Subtle and wonderfully packaged.
