The smooth mellow creaminess is correct. But only from 1810? Common, by the way they dress up the can you would think that the Knights Templars were brewing this stuff in the 13th century. You know before Jacques de Molay was executed. Well maybe another mystery the world has to unravel? Most likely… na. A very nice Irish cream ale, immensely enjoyed, enjoying it right now, as I type!
Barwa bursztynowa, klarowne, piana biała, drobniuteńka, obfita, trwała - azot robi robotę. W aromacie karmel, opiekane tosty, trochę toffi - zapewne kremowa pianka w połączeniu z karmelem daje trochę taki diacetyl. W smaku słodowe, karmelowe, chlebowo-tostowe. Nieco chmielowej ziołowości, ale niewiele. Goryczka niska do średniej (jak na styl), piwo jest gładkie, trochę brakuje ciała, wysycenie niskie. 440 ml can. Pours a caramel gold with a thick creamy head forming after a cascade of falling carbonation (like a stout). Super malty sweet smells with sour notes too. Curiously sort of like a bitter with very creamy notes of malt and leather and a little barnyard. It all seems to work. Can from Merchants. Aroma is bready, apple, caramel malt, light earthy hop, toffee maybe. Appearance is darker amber, fluffy nitro light tan head, somewhat hazy. Taste is bland, caramel, earthy hop, metallic, bitterness comes through at the end, maybe some fruit and bread, forgettable. Mouthfeel is nitro heavy, light nitrogen, a bitterness creeps back after the otherwise bland finish. Overall, it's very easy drinking, otherwise is seems the only point of this one is to get you drunk.

Przyjemny, karmelowo słodki aromat z nutami marshmallow, herbatnika, miodu, banana, białych owoców. Odrobina diacetylu. Lekkie żelazo.
W smaku słodkawe, karmelowe. Trochę banana. Nieco chleba, przypraw i ziołowego chmielu na finiszu. Może nieco diacetylu. Bardzo gładkie, nisko wysycone. Goryczka niska, krótka.

440 ml nitro can into imperial pint glass, canned on 12/21/2016. A beautiful nitro cascade. Pours fairly crystal clear deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and creamy cream colored head that lasts the whole glass. Thick soapy lacing coats the whole glass as you drink. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of honey, cracker, biscuit, and lightly toasted bread; with lighter notes of nuttiness, caramel, pear, apple, herbal, floral, grass, pepper, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of bready malts and light earthy hop/fruity yeast notes; with solid strength. Taste of big honey, cracker, biscuit, and lightly toasted bread; with lighter notes of nuttiness, caramel, pear, apple, herbal, floral, grass, pepper, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Very slight diacetyl in the aromas and flavors, but hardly noticeable. Mild herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of honey, cracker, biscuit, lightly toasted bread, light nuttiness/caramel, herbal, floral, grass, pepper, and yeast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bready malts and light earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Slightly increasing dryness from bitterness. Mild carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and slightly silky/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is a very nice cream ale. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bready malts and light earthy hop/fruity yeast flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the nitro finish.
