Handpulled cask at JDW Harrow on St. Patricks day. Dark brown with lasting off-white head and good carbonation. Malty with a fruity bitterness. No great hop content. A very average beer. Carlus12 (361) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 12, 2008
Draught @ JDW Penderels Oak, Holborn. Amber colour with off white head. Aroma is hoppy, toffee. Taste is caramel, hops, sweet. Not the best but still drinkable. cgarvieuk (25224) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 27, 2008

Cask at The Penny Black JDW Bicester, Oxon, 23-03-08 Mid amber in colour, unusual aroma bit chloriney, smooth caramel and bit fruity not really my thing I’m afraid. imdownthepub (14955) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 21, 2008
Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Brown with slight white head. Probably gone a little too far over, but strong fungal, yeasty notes and the GK tea background. Quite ropey unfortunately.

Cask in the counting house. Aroma is toffee apples and floural hop. Taste has caramel aswell as toffee off the malts, again floural hop. Suprisingly little green king character. SilkTork (5777) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - MAR 20, 2008
JDW, Rochester Creamy foam on a tannic body leading into a dusty bitter hop pellet finish. Some caramel/toffee with fruit hints. Decent ale. MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAR 17, 2008
A Mes rate: Cask at Baker Street ’Sporks.Golden brown with a thick off white head and lots of lace. Sweet and creamy with a nasty yeasty finish. A bit Greene King all round really. Only drank it as it was Paddy’s Day. I should have had a Guinness Cold!
