On tap at Capone’s. Poured a golden/amber color with a small sized head. Lots of toastiness and grains with some breadiness. Tad on the thinner side.
Slightly hazy amber color with a thin khaki colored head. Very little lacing or head retention. Aroma of caramel and bread notes. Not sweet and just a little bitterness. No body. Rare miss for me from Weyerbacher. Art (3220) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 23, 2013

Draft at Capones. Pours hazy dark copper with khaki head and spare lace. Nose is caramel and Munich malt, hopcitrus, subdued hops. Tastes of bready caramel/Munuch malts,mild fruit, hops. On tap at Datz Tampa. Pours a dark copper with a tan head and aroma of caramel and toffee. Taste is of caramel, toffee, bread, and rye with a dry, toasty finish. Interesting brew, unique flavors

Draft at Good Dog. Clear orange amber pour. Lasting foam head. Clean dark amber malts. Caramel oranges. Apricots. Fresh oak. Scones with lemon curd. Bamboo shoots. Nutella. Celery hearts. Nectarines. From a growler. Nose of caramel, some nice light toast and Maillard goodness, pleasant floral and woody hops, pours copper that still lets a lo of light through. Watery body with light-medium bitterness, bone-dry and attenuated out, still has some pleasant undertones of melony fruitines and light citrus and faint vegetal notes. There’s some really nice malt complexity here, and that does seem to be the design focus, but I think the hops are real winner, a little weird to session for too long but interesting and worth a pint. Very clean.
