Dark brown pour with dense but thin tan head. Aroma is raost malt, caramel and chocolate. Taste sweet and chocolate bitter. glennmastrange (2859) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - MAY 29, 2014
Tap. Moderate to heavy toasted and dark chocolate, light to moderate resin and herbs for the hops, moderate earth for the yeast, with cola, whiskey and a hint of tar. Head is small, creamy, tan with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is very dark brown. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is medium to full, dry with a soft carbonation and a moderately alcoholic and chewy finish. An impressive Stout with a sharp bite. john_chaney (21) - - APR 20, 2014
On draft poured into a pub pint glass at McGlynns Pub in Bear Delaware. Beer pours very dark brown with a khaki 2 finger head that recedes slowly leaving much lacing. This is a malt forward stout with lots of the dark malt characteristics including coffee and rich milk chocolate. There’s a grain bitterness with the finish. That bitterness is balanced by a good bit of chocolate syrupy type sweetness and a refreshing hop mintiness. Very unusual finish that was not unpleasant at all. I would definitely drink this American style Stout again.

On draft at Isaacs. Nice notes of chocolate, roast and dirt. Some hop...thin body...dry finish. Not bad. Slipstream (2612) - USA - FEB 27, 2014
Draft at Good Beer. A malty, smooth stout, with a very nice aroma. My guess was that there were some oats in here, but apparently not. Solid.
