Pours amber with minimal head. Despite the lack of head, it had a lot of carbonation. Nose is underwhelming but flavor OS robust with a nutty/boozy aftertate with hints of cherry. Very good and just the right amount of alcholol taste.
UPDATED: MAR 16, 2017 Bottle. Sensoric. Vintage 2013. Light brown, opaque with tiny, almost none head. Slightly boozy in the aroma combined with nice moderate raisins, vanilla, caramel, candy-like, slightly woody and oaky. Almonds and yeasty. Lightly spicy. Taste is light heavy sweet lil the end of degustation. Finish is sweet, vanilla, slightly chemical. Medium to full body, oily and thick texture, slightly warming down the throat. In overall very sweet and not really complex brew, despite having been 4 years in the bottle the booziness is all around. Nice and simple combination of flavors. Colore ambrato, schiuma media non persistente come ti aspetti, aromi di frutta candita e vaniglia. Al palato malto, caramello, toffee, corpo medio, nota alcolica finemente pungente dovuta alle botti di whisky, leggermente astringente. Corpo medio, sul finale permangono le noti della vaniglia e del legno delle botti. Pours a deep iced tea brown with a big creamy tan head. Strong aroma of sweet caramel with some earthy woody notes and a big whiff of whiskey. Smooth with sweetness and warmth. Medium body with a light sticky mouth feel, Smooth finish with some warmth but no harshness. Decent lingering aftertaste. Pours murky reddish brown with very small frothy beige head, woodsy aroma, medium carbonation, sweetish caramel taste with woodsy flavor and whisky undertones, smooth body, medium woodsy finish. 750ml bottle 12/3/16 (CMH-OH)-46° in Trappist Glass-Pours a ruby red with a very small ring for a head. Aroma of alcohol, malt, and sweetness. Taste of the same with caramel, toffee, and dried fruit. This medium to full bodied brew is pretty hot and I’ve had it for a few months but otherwise pretty darn tasty.

Bottle bought 7/2012 pours ruby red almost purple few heads. Light-medium body. Heated on impact then the vanilla and berries/plum come through before finishing with considerable heat. Thanks perhaps in part to the high level of alcohol and quite a bit of age, Blasphemy was tasty enough to make me utter a few blasphemous phrases. Brownish red color. Fruity, toasty, and mildly funky aromas. Big note of red fruit and ribes in the flavor with a little tartness coming through. Alcohol is almost entirely hidden. There’s a bit of earthiness and some bread. This was the oldest Quad I’ve had so far. I have to conclude that it was an intriguing and rewarding experience.
