Bottle thanks to footbalm. Pours out a black color with a pretty thick light brown head. A very interesting nose, lots of spices, some bananas/cloves, light roasted notes. The taste is like a spiced up stout, very creamy, spicy, some chocolates, caramel, and a strong ginger component. Very nice and interesting. Like a dessert. pineypower (3295) - Ocean County, New Jersey, USA - DEC 27, 2008
Bottle from Capones. Pours out black with a small lacing brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, cinnamon, and some chocolate. Taste is complex, very smooth mouthfeel. Roasted malts, chocolate, cinnamon and ginger, definitely an interesting touch with the ginger in there. I liked it. santos999 (318) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 25, 2008
Very dark brown body with red hues and a rich light chocolate head. The aroma is very festive - spicy and sweet with lots of complexities. Chocolate, pie crust, some nuttiness, coffee, clove and ginger. The taste is surprisingly easy and refreshing. The spicy notes blend very well with the roasty and sweet notes. Im pretty impressed with this one, and I cant wait for more of these awesome one offs theyve been busting out. Bring it on Weyerbacher! zathrus13 (1776) - Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA - DEC 9, 2008
Pours dark brown, with a tan head. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malt, along with light touches of connamon and ginger. Flavor is roasted malt, chocolate, ginger, and caramel. Nice, and different. adrian910ss (2572) - Doylestown, PA, USA - DEC 9, 2008

Pours a deep black with a large creamy tan head that left wonderful lacing down the side of the glass. What a great looking stout. Aroma of cinnamon and ginger up front, chocolate, light roast, some honey notes, vanilla, nuts and caramel. Flavor of the cinnamon and ginger again up front. Milk chocolate, nuts, caramel, light roast, spices kind of coat the tongue. I have never been a fan of ginger in beers and while it is not overpowering in this beer, it is there. Would think some vanilla bean and cinnamon would have worked out better in this one.
