COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fast on the heels of our fantasticly reformulated Hops Infusion, our brewers have picked up the gauntlet and brewed a Double IPA using exclusively Simcoe(R) Hops! This west coast Hops was created in 2000 by Select Botanicals, Inc. and carries a fantastic flavor profile abounding with citrusy-grapefruit, piney, resiny notes that pushes this Double IPA over the top. 9.0% ABV in the brew gives it a nice malt foundation as well. Draft and bottles, 12 oz. in PA, 22 oz. out of state (as we have no 6-packs),

Wow! What a damn good imperial IPA! Very strong and distinct Hops that bring the hurt faster than expected. See commercial description for the specifics... this stuff is great. Enjoyed from the 22 oz. bottle... it was enough after a night of drinking. Wow!

Bottle. Thanks to jasonmech77. Poured a golden color. Had a hint of smoke to it. Very hoppy beer loved it.

Bottle. Cloudy grayish-brown, with a massive off-white head. The hop aroma is impressive, with a piney floral aroma that worries me a little. This beer is heavy, with a great malt sweetness that sort of balances the hops. The second sip is even better. The hops seem a bit less bitter and the beer seems smother and mellower.

Tap: Pours a hazy orangey amber with thin off-white head. Nice sweetish toffeeish hoppy aroma. Has an overall grapefruit bitterness in the flavor, with a light sweet malt background. Slightly flowery with a subtle caramel sweetness. Nice brew.

(Bottle 65 cl) Pours a slightly hazy amber golden with a small, off-white head. Distinctly perfumy hoppiness in the aroma. Solid body with some caramel and then fat, somewhat soapy aroma hops leaving a distinct bitterness in the finish. 011206

hazy orange body with tones of brown and red. light almond coloured head with nice lace. beautifully hopped nose - citrus and pine- very yummy and hop-oh-lishous. Citrus, floral and fresh grapefruit. rated at "uncle" carnevale’s house via laptop due to poweroutage at mi casa.

A hazy amber beer with a thin oof-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of hops and grapefruit. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of hops, alfa acids, and caramel, leading to a nicely bitter end. Nice.

Clear orange-amber beer with nice and thick off white head. The nose is one and all hops, it is herby and has interesting tones of mint and pastis. It also has hints of citrus, dry malts and wood. The taste is smooth and dry at the same time. It is nutty, and has touches of bread and lemon zests. Aftertaste is refreshing and fine hoppy, it stays in your mouth for minutes.
