COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With its rich malty taste, deliciously full body and clean crisp finish, Weyerbacher ESB is truly a delectable libation. Boasting a fragrant hop aroma and glowing with a reddish-amber color, our ESB is arousing yet well balanced. It's the perfect companion for good friends, good food, or just about any occasion.

Very malty taste, very rich, crisp, above average body, floral aroma & aftertaste, very well balanced, kept a pretty good head for it being out of the bottle, very good ESB

Unfiltered hazy copper with suspended flecks. Foamy off white head. Moderate-light carbonation. Roasted and chocolate malt aroma. Crisp medium body, with a good dose of malt flavor. Cocoa and light roasted caramel aspects. Nicely balanced with earthy hops and a very slight fruit edge. Gets maltier and deeper as it sits and warms. Finishes mellower and sharply maltier. Tastes different than previous versions but still very good.

well balanced ESB. amber/red color with a bubbly off white head, with a floral hoppy aroma. taste was bitter but mellow, has a buttery smoothness to it. while hoppy the malt flavors are evident and become more evident in the later sips as the bitter hops fade. good palate but a touch over carbonated. Another good beer from this underrated brewery.

Very bitter, hop blending wasn’t very well done. Smooth, but bad aftertaste.

This beer was absolutely lovely, though it is hard for me to accept this as a genuine ESB. The hops bitterness was borderline imperceptible. This beer has a pleasant honey-smoothness that makes it incredibly drinkable.

Good stuff! Nice hops, not overpowering the malt.

A good flavor - but the bottles I’ve had have been WAY over-carbonated. AFter I poured & let it sit in a mug for 15 minutes or so, it was good. Mild bitterness to balance the malt. Don’t know if I got a reject case of CO2-Overkilled bottles or what.

A nicely brewed, mellow ESB. Sweetish without cloying, and a hint of hops. Brownish red color.
