Rolling in at 13.5% ABV, Finally Legal has rich chocolate flavor with hints of vanilla and a touch of smoky bacon. 12 ounce bottle. Picked this up yesterday and had to try it straight away. Opaque dark brown color topped by a small creamy tan head. Aroma is a paradox of complexity. Notes of smoke, maple syrup, foil, walnut oil, cocoa and birch. First sip is bittersweet chocolate and maple syrup. Further along comes the warming alcohol and vanilla. Then, a finish of herbal liquor, rum-soaked raisins and cough syrup.

FROTHINGSLOSH (7521) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 23, 2017
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a black color with a medium sized foamy dark brown head that left decent lacing. The aroma was roasty with floral hops, anise and a bit of cocoa. The flavor was toasty malts with vanilla, cocoa a bit of coffee and port wine. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Solid.

Bottle labelled as "21", listed at 11.9% ABV. Pours opaque ink-black with a 1-finger tan head that was gone quickly. Aromas of bourbon and cocoa, with a note of vanilla underneath. A bit of wood as it warms. Full body, somewhat syrupy. Boozy astringency to the finish. Flavor of cocoa with notes of vanilla and wood at the back.

Bottle. The pour is black. The aroma is a nice blend of bourbon, has some marshmallow flavor from the vanilla. The taste is smooth, a full body with a nice bourbon tone to it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
