Bottled. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, over ripe fruits, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, over ripe fruits, and hops, leading to a quite bitter finish. Thanks fiulijn for this beer.

Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - DEC 16, 2009
Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Slighly hazy golden with an off-white head. Perfumy, flowery hops. Medium body, some caramel and soapy hops. Bitter finish. Not all that fresh I’m afraid - not off or bad though. 161209

From Chevy Chase, Washington DC
Beatiful orange-amber color, hazy; small but persistent head. There is some sweet caramel aroma. It has a good body structure and a rather smooth mouthfeel, a good toffee flavor too, and it’s well bitter; good, but overall there is nothing of the expected hop qualities.
It’s the same batch as the bottle that I gave to the Danish friends, and as already noticed, it’s probably not fresh, maybe it was from the previous season...

Bottle from Ro0ot Cellar. Poured clear copper color with an average white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus hop and small earthy malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable brew that met my expectations.

This brew is a lightly hazed copper-orange color with a medium light beige head that recedes steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of Simcoe hops and malt. Medium body with a moderately hoppy character that has notes of flowers, citrus, and bread . The finish is hoppy with a lingering bitterness that is replaced by some musty malt. Above average overall.
