750ml bottle. Rating #33. I have to say that this wasn’t good. It was a complete sour bomb and it wasn’t a good sour, as a matter of fact it was a drain pour. (2597) mar (5415) - Dallas, Texas, USA - DEC 14, 2012
Brown with a cream head. Nose is booze, lightly tart, sweet, and alcohol. Very nice on the palate, light sourness, booze, chewy, caramel, nice finish. italianjohn (3133) - Penndel, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 7, 2012

Thanks to thirdeye11 for sharing this bottle.
The beer pours a reddish color with a tan head. The aroma ha a ton of brown sugar and cherry notes, as well as a good dose of vinegar. The flavor is very similar. There is a lot of acidic vinegar, as well as some toffee and sweetness from the brown sugar. I also get a little bit of cherry, plum and other dark fruit notes. There are also hints of sherry and leather in the flavor. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. JFURYCAT (1078) - East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 13, 2012
I am a sucker for old ales and honestly I enjoyed this so F the score and I haven’t read any other reviews. Body has a lather thickness with some raison notes up front with dark fruits, sweet malt content etc. the carbonation seems nonexistent for this. I did enjoy the oak tones I detected. Aroma could use a bit more but what should I expect from a barrel aged beer?

pours an opaque caramel/amber with no head...lifeless and murky. aroma is soury with sweet malty and oaky undertones...muddled. flavor is a tart/sweet mess...some light vinegary sour notes. mouthfeel is full and stucky sweet/syrupy and lifeless with a slightly tart finish. horrible. robertjm (892) - Albany, California, USA - JUN 11, 2012
(trade w/LIVEFAST) 750ml bottle - Poured pretty much flat. Zero head. Body is absolutely murky brown. Aroma of boiled raisins. Flavors interesting. Muted tones from the Brett. Detect notes of boiled raisins and old leather. Sides of glass are coated with a bit of sediment as the beer level goes down. Reminds me of a murky dry sherry or oxidized port wine. Hard to believe this is 12% alcohol. Wish it wasn’t so sludgy, and there were some bubbles in there. hopdog (12510) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 6, 2012
750ml bottle. Cloudy brown color with almost no head. Flat body as the pour suggests. Woody, caramel, with some lighter funkiness. Some dark fruits in the tastes as well. dcschiller (2208) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - MAY 27, 2012
Pours a clear caramel color with no head. Aroma is caramel and some vinegar. Tatse is sour and sweet. Thin and clearly infected. I was the only one who thought it was interesting. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - MAY 26, 2012
Brown pour. Not much of a head. Sour maple aroma, rotten fruit, dumpster aromas. Flavor is rotten garbage, sour cabbage, yuck.
