Draft at Redlight during Hopfest 10! Dark hazy orange pour. Big citrus hop aroma. Slightly sweet malt, spicy, citrus and bitter hop taste. Awesome. hopscotch (11182) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - APR 27, 2010
Draft… Mildly hazy orange ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The floral, citrusy, resiny bouquet is pretty restrained, but darn nice nonetheless. A little biscuit in there too. Medium to full-bodied with a skim-milk mouthfeel and biting carbonation. Biscuit and toffee malts provide the backbone upon which medium bitter, tannic and citrusy bitterness flourishes. Bittersweet finish… the sweetness quickly disappears, but the bitterness hangs out a good while. Teege (375) - Orlando, Florida, USA - APR 27, 2010
Draft at redlight redlight. Pours a bright slightly cloudy orange with a big off-white head and good lace. The nose is mild, predominately hoppy, notes of citrus peel, some hints of pine, and even a very subtle hint of herbs and maybe pizza. The flavor is excellent. Very bitter with a semi-sweet citrus finish. Very dry. This is just a good classic American IPA. Fred82 (2331) - Québec City, Quebec, CANADA - APR 23, 2010
12oz bottle thanks to someoneredlight (2318) - Orlando, Florida, USA - APR 23, 2010
Appearance : Clear orange with medium creamy and fluffy head. Extensive lacing.
Aroma : Mango and passion fruits. Resinous hops, very fruity.
Taste : Earthy and tangy. Some mango. Resinous and mineral. Hints of roasted bread. Finish has hints of overcooked caramel. Some spices. Finish is quite bitter and very dry
Overall : Nice nose but taste is a bit deceiving. Maybe a bit too bitter and even a bit harsh. Still nice stuff.
draft @ redlight redlight. Citrus hops on the nose, grapefruity, orange with hints of grassy pine. Pours slightly hazy, pale golden in color. Solid IPA, piney with bitter citrus peel, grassy with an earthy bitterness.

Pours an orange amber haze with a thin white foam head. Has an aroma of Grapefruit, caramel, and pine. More grapefruit and malt on the palate, less resinous. You get the bitters and then a quick dry finish. Lacking the sweetness up front. Decent amount of carbonation, perhaps a bit much to give it a seltzer feel. Good, but not premier. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - APR 1, 2010
On draft at Oldsmar Tap House. Pours lemon yellow with a soapy, fizzy white head. Nose is lemon, honey, citrus, and white grapefruit. Flavor is similar with fizzy grapefruit, pine, and spice. Different than what I expected. italianjohn (3228) - Penndel, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 31, 2010
Pale orange light amber pour light lacing ... off white head .... roasted sweet malt aroma and citrusy hops .... tasted of roasted and sweet malts with a citrusy hop taste and a bitter hop dry finish a little different and average .... a decent IPA craftycarl21 (2339) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAR 22, 2010
Got this on tap at RFD in DC. Amber pour, small head. Aroma was fairly light, with some decent floral and citrus hop kick. Flavor was similar; citrusy, and tasty overall. Bad rating, but I didn’t write them down on site. Pretty decent overall (go by numbers). dmac (6438) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - MAR 20, 2010
12 oz bottle generously given to me by pineypower, thanks Dean. Pours a cloudy orange with an average siezed frothy white head. Aroma is very fruity with lots of citrus and tropical fruits, apricot, peach, mango, pink grapefruit, grains and a slight touch of pine resin. The body is medium to fuller with a slight creamy mouth feel and strong carbonation. Flavor isn’t quite as good as the aroma with lots of fruitiness coming through, more troical then citrus, peach and apricot, grains and a slight metallic note in the middle before a bitter grassy finish. Solid effort for my hundredwhatever IPA rating.
