Tap at Capone’s. Poured a cloudy light orange with an excellent, creamy white head that had excellent retention and sheety lace. Big Belgian yeast in the nose along with pepper, candi sugar, orange peel, muted farmhouse notes. Tap at Capones. Pours a hazy orange with a medium creamy off white head that laced. Aroma of banana, clove, some lemon and light spicy saison character. The spices are there but not overbearing. draft @ redlight redlight. Musty spicy aroma with sweet citrus blossoms and some honey notes in the aroma. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a thick white head. Musty notes upfront with malty sweetness and some sweet citrus notes some spicy notes and an underlying funk (which is very nice) and a nice dry finish. Pretty solid.

Draught at Capone’s: Aroma of pale malt, coriander, grains of paradise, and Belgian yeast. Poured orange/yellow in color with a medium-sized, creamy, dense, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of pale malt, coriander, Belgian yeast, slight spices, and funky cheese. Medium body. Dry texture. Average to lively carbonation. The aroma is funky and slightly sweet in the typical saison style. The bright amber orange appearance has a small white head. There are deep citrus notes for a saison which settle nicely with some bready flavor as well.
