Comes out of the tap a barely transparent amber with a thick, fine-bubbled pale amber head that sticks around for a while. Hoppy aroma has both woody and resiny components, as well a a nice malty underpinning and more than a hint of citrus. Flavor has a firm hoppy note, but is barely bitter, and has malty and Mandarin orange tones supporting it and providing a little sweetness to balance the slight hoppy bitterness. Firm, fizzy texture leaves a nice hoppy and slightly fruity finish. LilBeerDoctor (4193) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 17, 2013
UPDATED: OCT 6, 2013 6/17/13. Bottle. Pours a clear orange with a thin white head. Aroma of sweet caramel malt, light fruits, toasted malt, citrus, jam. Flavor of bready malts with a bitter hoppy finish and some light fruits as well. Some stinky, grassy hops in the finish too. Not a super hoppy IPA, as it’s definitely more malt forward. The hops do flourish more as the beer warms. Easy drinking though.

Update 10/6/13: on tap. Aroma of light fruits, stinky and grassy hops, citrus, jam. Flavor of citrus hops, grassy hops, tropical fruits, earthy hops, bubblegum. Definitely more hoppier in the tap version, especially the fruity/citrus hops with some grassy hops as well. Deserves a slight bump.
bottle. cloudy orange with a small white head. grapefruit and pear aroma. a very dry, bitter ipa with a high attenuation. not a whole heck of alot of residual sweetness left in this one. light bodied. reminds me of founders all day ipa. citrusy, bitter, soda cracker notes. Bottled. Poured clear medium golden with a fluffy white head. The aroma picked up fresh grass, pine, and grapefruit over caramel.. on the malty side overall.. aiight. The flavor found similar.. green grass, pine, and peppery bitterness over semi-sweet caramel and bready notes.. lots of residual bitterness on the long finish. Light-medium bodied and scratchy on the palate.. more bitter as it warmed.. adequate carbonation.. not bad, but not memorable. erickok (6036) - Leuven, BELGIUM - JUN 13, 2013
Misty orange body with small grey lace. Orange compote, juniper berries, dry yeast, fairly clean. Soft bitterness, too low actually, although the far end is dry enough to accentuate the hops a bit. Bit thin yet drinks nicely. (33cl bottle from Bière Révolution)

Pours pale golden color, hazy body. Head is one finger wide, white, medium cremosity. Aroma is fruity and hoppy with a smooth nice honey background which I liked very much. Low to medium carbonation, medium body; finish is intensely bitter but not overwheelming. Taste is bitter; pine and resin, and herbs nicely balanced. drsordr (2861) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - JUN 9, 2013
Bottle pour dark yellow. Nose dank hop, some malt, almost vegetal. Taste similar, some tropical fruit hop and resin, but mostly just the bitterness. Not much sweetness. A bitter finish. HogTownHarry (7065) - Toronto (Harbourfront), CANADA - JUN 7, 2013
12oz bottle from Premier Gourmet. Mostly clear amber-gold, large lasting fizzy/frothy white head. Decent aroma - dry, leafy resin with alcohol and some light tree fruit. Taste - a little harsh, vegetal, dry, quite bitter .... average body, astringent, okay carbonation, long dry harsh bitter finish. Bottle. Pours a thin yellow/amber in color. Thin white head sticks around with some spotty lacing. Aromas of citrus and pine, caramel, and light toast. Flavor is dominated by dry bitterness with some citrus pith and pine. Light bodied and very dry finish.
