A full-flavored hop assault delightfully lacking in balance. A combination of Centennial, Cascade, Simcoe and Columbus hops are used to produce pungent aromas of grapefruit, pine and citrus.

Deep amber with huge head that does fade pretty quickly, slight haze. Sharp pine and citrus with some biscuity malt aroma. Somewhat watery mouthfeel at first that does coat the mouth for a moderate finish. Fair amount of carbonation on tongue. Bitter resins prominent with piney citrus aftertaste. Malt presence is subdued. Kind of reminds me of some of the session ipas with a better mouthfeel (but lacking flavors from malts).

12 oz bottle. The pour is a thicker dark orange with a surprising lack of head and, as such, no lace. The aroma is decent, but incredibly one dimensional. There is a bitter resin and some tropical grapefruit. Maybe a little pineapple chimes in toward the end, but then it's back to the resin. The flavor is a little better. There is a little more of a hip flavor to it behind the fruits and the light resin bitterness. It's still lacking in complexity. The mouth feel is surprisingly carbonated and light. Especially surprising considering how it looks. The aftertaste is piney and carries a nice resin bitterness. Not too shabby, but I wish there was a little more dimension to it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Drank from a pint glass, poured from a twelve ounce bottle. Pours a hazy orange/golden color. Has pretty strong aromas of hops, but the hops are not overpowering, not a bad IPA.
