Aroma is pine, malts and a hint of grass. The flavor is citrus, mild grapefruit, fruit and a grassy and bitter finish. Decent IPA, great cause. Huhzubendah (3705) - Washington DC, USA - OCT 3, 2012
On draft at Capone’s in Philadelphia.
The beer is light orange hued with a white head and some random lacing. The aroma is hop forward, with some earthy notes. The hop profile is a bit sharp, and has an English character about it. The body is light to medium. Clean and easy drinking. Not my favorite hop profile. I would prefer less balance, and more citrus fruit flavors. A decent brew, and worth a try.

12oz bottle. Pours golden amber with a white head. Piney hops aromas with grapefruit, resin, caramel, and a bit of yeast. Flavor is thin bodied but full of hops. Pine, citrus, and caramel stand out. Drinks nice but it just needs a little more body to be awesome. fata2683 (2176) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - SEP 25, 2012
Bottle pours light Amber with a thin white head. Aroma is dank resinous pine. Flavor is dry pine hops and toast with nutty notes in the finish. Very balanced. Drake (13738) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 22, 2012
12 ounce bottle from State Line. Pours a clear amber color with a thin foamy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of big sticky resin hops, herbal notes, candied citrus. The taste is very catty, herbal and a faint bit of resin. Medium bodied. Decent.

Cat urine backed up by pineapple on the nose. Clear amber, medium head. Grassy, decent biterness. Well made, tasty IPA. Heathen (1500) - Wilmington, Delaware, USA - SEP 22, 2012
THOUGHTS: Not enough balance. Not enough malt to balance all the hops. Maybe they should stick to imperial stouts and sours.
TECHNICAL: Bottle. Poured a slightly hazy, dark, brownish orange with an average, off-white head that mostly diminished and left good lacing. The aroma was every weak compared to the flavor, but contained light cookie; very light caramel; and light to moderate perfume, pine, citrus and earthy hops. The initial flavor was lightly sweet and moderate to heavily bitter; while the finish was heavily bitter and slightly acidic with a long duration. There was grain, slight citrus, pine, concentrated grapefruit, citrus rind, metallic hops and straight up hop pellets. The nearly medium body was dry with fizzy carbonation and a dry and metallic finish. Butters (4059) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - SEP 22, 2012
UPDATED: DEC 3, 2014 Sampled at Dan’s after Top of the Hops tasting. Clear golden pour with minimal offwhite head. Very earthy, foresty, woody, slightly lemony hops. Strong lingering bitterness. Body is a little watery. Kinda like hop tea mixed with an ipa. Meh. jeff789 (1408) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 22, 2012
Upon further review, this hazy golden elixer is better this time around. More pungent than I recalled. Better flavor, not as watery. Decent ipa.
Mostly clear lightly hazy golden with a smaller white head limited retention... Malty sweet fruit with a light hoppiness underneath... Not nearly hoppy enough to be called an ipa... Medium to medium thin body... Nickls (2535) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - SEP 22, 2012
Tap. Fluffy white head lightly hazy orange hazy. Musty dank grassy hoppy nose. Touch of garlic, grassy hops, some light grapefruit. Medium sticky body. Just ok
