A full-flavored hop assault delightfully lacking in balance. A combination of Centennial, Cascade, Simcoe and Columbus hops are used to produce pungent aromas of grapefruit, pine and citrus.

Bottle. Light honey color, with full head that stayed well. Aroma was semi fresh with some floral and grass hop notes. Medium light bitter. Slight sticky texture. Creamyish. Bitter finish. Some hay taste. Not bad.

Pours copper yellow with a thin white head. Nice pine aroma. Taste is all over the place. Starts off like watered down ipa and finishes bitter and dry. Not a fan.

Draft at winners circle. Pours copper with a dense but small had. Aroma is really nice and full of piney hops. The taste is medium bitter and very tasty for a low abv ipa. Im very impressed with this and could enjoy in a session for sure.

Pours an amber color with a white head. Aroma is of caramel malts and citrus and pine hops. Plenty of citrus and pine hops on the flavor. Decent bitterness on the finish, not too strong. Well balanced with the caramel malts.

decent ipa. good drink-ability. not to bitter, not to light. wouldnt be my first choice when at the store, but certainly not my last. its cool that part of the money spent on it goes towards animal rescue shelters, nice/unique idea from weyerbacker!

Bottle. A clear amber pour with a smallish light beige head. Lots of juicy grapefruits, zesty citrus rinds, resiny pine needles, and an earthy graininess in the somewhat perfumed/grassy aroma. Thin to medium-bodied on the way down. A tad watery here and there. The taste starts with a crackery graininess. Earthy and wheaty in the middle. Some zesty citrus fruits and rinds at the end. Finishes crisp and slightly dry. One-sided, but very poundable.

12 oz. A decent IPA, but my least favorite offering from Weyerbacher. Grass hop scent, very faint, with a little sweet citrus on the finish. Translucent bronze pour, foamy head. LIghter than medium body with a slightly sticky feel. Bitter grass hop taste, very one dimensional. Ill stick with the Double Simcoe or the Infused Hop from Weyerbacher in the future.

The ratings for this beer are way too low. The aroma alone should get it in the upper ranges. A malt base with a huge pine aroma. Just what a piney like me likes. The flavor is not as good, mostly malt with just a hint of the pine. Slightly thin but way better than my peers have rated.

No bottling date.

A: Clear amber body with a stream of fine carbonation bubbles while a thin white head sits on top.

S: This smells like its a lot higher in alcohol than it is, lots of hop aromas as well, very fresh smelling. Grapefruit takes the main aroma with some sweeter citrus backing.

T: Well this is a very weird beer, it tastes very unrefined. At times this is very watery, and at times the hops hit hard. Slight sweet citrus hops on the intro, the mid-taste hits hard of grapefruit, and the finish just drops all flavor quickly.

M: Light bodied with light carbonation.

O: This is a massive disappointment really, theres nothing really redeeming about this at all. Weyerbacher is very hit or miss and this is a miss.

Pours attractive reddish brown with thin white head. Smell is simcoe hops, pine, and spice. Taste is the same, with some light fruity notes
