COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full-flavored hop assault delightfully lacking in balance. A combination of Centennial, Cascade, Simcoe and Columbus hops are used to produce pungent aromas of grapefruit, pine and citrus.

Transfer from BA review on 11-13-12- Poured from bottle into pint glass Appearance – The beer poured a hazy copper-orange color with a two finger off white head. The head fades slowly over time only leaving a light level of lacing on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is heavies of a citrus hop mixed with some fruit aromas - a mix of tangerine, apple and pear. With these aromas are some other lighter hop aromas of a pine and earthy nature as well. Overall it’s a rather nice nose. Taste – The taste begins with a lighter fruit sweetness and a lighter citrus hop on top of a bready base. Quickly after the initial tastes some pine hop flavors come to the tongue. While it starts out more subtle, the pine quickly grows stronger, all the while the sweeter fruit flavors begin to dwindle. At the end of the taste the pine, now quite strong, is accompanied by an upsurge in a bitter grapefruit citrus and some earthy hop to in the end leave a nice fairly bitter hop flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the average to just above average side in terms of creaminess with a carbonation level that is rather average as well. Not bad for the flavors, but nothing too exceptional. Overall – A nice drinkable, bitter piney hoped IPA. A little more sweetness to balance out the pine may have been nice, but its not bad overall. Both for the taste as well as for the animals that it benefits I would recommend giving it a go.

Pours a cloudy, hazy gold color with decent lacing. Smells hoppy and slightly of rose water. Unfortunately, the taste did not quite match that of the aroma. A decent ipa, but that is all it is.

Bottle. Clear amber color with ivory head. Spicy, citrusy, pale malt aromas. Medium body. Nice spicy citrusy bitter hop flavors with cracker malts, and a light fruit sweetness---good.

Super hoppy American IPA is somewhat bitter but delicious fresh and drying.

This was way too grassy. Some grass is good, but this was just way too grassy. Not much hop aroma or taste just kind of a weird malty taste. I will definitely try it again but this one wasn’t all that great and I was really surprised

Reviewed from notes. This one was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a nice looking hazy orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dies at a nice pace and left a decent somewhat foamy lacing. The smell had a combination of spicy to pine to grapefruity goodness. There was a light dry but bittersweet aftertaste that lead to a fairly decent dry sweet finish. On the palate, this one sat at/about a light to medium on the body with a fairly good sessionability running about it. The carbonation was sharp enough for the AIPA style and was good to me. Overall, good AIPA well worthy of having again.

Bottle sample at the Weyerbacher tasting at Blacklick Wine & Spirits on 6/12/14. Clear amber pour with a medium off-white head. Aroma of malt, spicy hop, pine and grapefruit. Malty flavor with spicy hops before a bitter grapefruit finish.

Bright, golden, aroma is overly grassy, cheesy. Moderate bitterness, slight fruitiness, but overall lacking brightness.
