Tap at Redlight. Blackish brown pour with a tan, thick rocky head. Pungent citrus hop aroma with some herbal hop notes as well and some roastiness. Taste has some smoky roasty notes in the malt with a spicy citrus hop bitterness. Body is a little thin, which is about the only thing lacking in this brew.

Roasty malt aroma. Dark in color. An interesting brew, balanced all-in-all. A somewhat IPA like hoppiness is present, but roasted malts, almost porter-like, are there as well. Sweetness and bitterness with floral hops in the mix. Very interesting and worth trying. craftbeerdesign (2254) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - APR 24, 2011
