DocLock (11110) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 27, 2004
I found this mild to be true to the British style. It is lightly hopped, and not very malty. It kind of reminds me a little of Newcastle brown ale. I wouldn't call it remarkable, but I wouldn't call it bad either.

Dickinsonbeer (5073) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - SEP 7, 2003
Bottle. Color is very light brown, yet not amber. Head fades fast. Almost no lacing. Body is light, and it is almost harsh- definately not smooth. Aroma is slightly malty. Taste is of roasted and some chocolate malt. I would like to try on cask sometime.

While I don’t care for this style at all it was not a bad beer. Poured a clear amber with mild everything. Light malt, light hop bitter finish, light body, light caramel aroma. This probably would be good at the beach or any other hot place.

Mild caramel, milk chocolate and pecans in this mild ale - too bad the prickly carbonation erases most of it from your tongue before you can really enjoy it. very mild hops and a lightly sticky finish.

Pigfoot (2268) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - SEP 26, 2004
Appearance: clear bronze color, short-lived head.
Aroma: coppery, showing some maltiness, hints of caramel, little else.
Taste: once over the lips and onto the tongue, we find this one to be very meek and mild indeed. Light-bodied, amply balanced, meaning that there is so little of all of the parts that is an easy job to match them up! Some fruity tinges allow themselves to appear in further swallows.
It must be argued against my harsh judgements, though, that this brew adequately attains the stricture, tenets, requirements of the style, but it’s a style studiously designed to do nothing more than underwhelm.
Thin in body, brief finish, not without some small remainder of flavor, but overall, achingly dull.

Mild +session + england + 3.8%ABV= a very dull beer. Not a whole lot of flavor and thin mouthfeel. Slightly bready with a bit of hops.

Amberish in color with little to no head. Seemed carbonated while pouring - it sounded like a soda. Decent malty, roasty flavor. Haven't had a bad beer from Weyerbacher yet.

Pours nice bright copper color with dissipating off white head. Aroma is like Cheerios, grainy with a bit of hop grassiness. Flavor is likewise mostly grain. Beer seems to be a bit on the thin side, but I think this is consistent with the goal of producing a session beer. As far as low abv brews go, this is pretty flavorful and good. Thanks DocLoc.

Overall, a good beer... no off flavors or other flaws... just very MILD! Could have used a touch more hops
