COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Massively big and delicious, QUAD is an elegant and dark ale. Rich with complexity and flavor, try savoring it after a long day or during a fine dinner. You also might enjoy it as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to a dessert, but QUAD stands alone quite well. We recommend enjoying QUAD in a brandy snifter or wineglass so you can drink in the aroma of this fine elixir.

This one is almost overly malty, im not getting a whole lot of hop notes, more of malt and alcohol profile. Its alright, but just a bit too much like a sweetened alcohol than a beer.

Tap at brewery in easton with commonmac and rosskyle and samadouche. 12oz tulip pour. Really nice light plum color reminiscent of this style, small off white head. Dark fruit nose. Fruity plum taste with Belgian funk, very smooth. This is what this style is supposed to taste like. Excellent.

Pours a murky bourbon with a short, antique white head. Subtle tartness on the nose with aromas banana, bubble gum, and very faint clove. Moderately aggressive on the palate. Bubble gum flavor triumphs. Moderately dry throughout, but becomes even drier at the finish.

12 oz. bottled 09/30/2015. Clear, deep copper with some spots of foam. Aroma is banana, walnut, bread, toffee and a touch of booze. Tastes of toffee, bread, lightly tart apple, clove, plum, cherry and wood. Medium-plus body is big and malty per the style, but has a nice drying finish that makes it pretty drinkable. Smooth low-medium carbonation is nice.

Pours a cloudy reddish brown with no head. Cherry/stone fruit, spices dominate aroma. Sharp taste up front of spices. Fair bit of bitterness fades into sweetness. Rich toffee malts, a bit candy like. Has a slight medical aftertaste. Good body.

Pours a dirty brown tea color with a thin tan ring. Crisp tart aroma with notes of caramel, toffee, and vanilla. Smooth and flavorful with a full mouth feel and a nice warm finish. Masks the alcohol well. Leave a nice aftertaste.
