R.F.D. DC tap ($4hh): Pours a orange-gold color with a white head. Aroma was in my opinion the weakest aspect of this beer. It kind of had a sewery smell above the citrus hops. I don’t know it was kind of weird. Taste was moderately bitter, with sharp feeling hops. Aspects of citrus and something I thought might have been pine. In any case, it was drinkable and plenty enjoyable, but nothing to relish for its craft or sophistication. egajdzis (6692) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 5, 2011
[Draft @ Jose Pistolas] Lightly hazy orange amber color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, floral hops, lemon, herbs, toasted malts. Taste of lemon, citrus, grass, light pine, toffee malts, and a bitter finish. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 4, 2011
Tap. Jose pistolas. Pours a slightly hazy light amber body with a one finger frothy off-white head. The nose is fairly nice, some nice fruity sorachi ace hops, light maltiness. The flavor is fairly bright with some spicy and fruity hops light caramel malt, a little bit of crackery malt as well. Lighter bodied with a light clinginess on the finish. Moderate fizzy carbonation. Decent, but not a stand out. dmac (6429) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - JUN 16, 2011
Draft at Jose Pistolas shared with Dean during RBSG 2011. Poured an okay looking clear golden/orange with a small foamy off white head. Aroma of slight lemons, grass and dry hops. Thin bodied with strong carbonation, pretty much a glass of seltzer. Flavor was just gross, it was like grass and butter. If there was a drain close by this would have went down it. Two sips and gave the rest of the pint to Dean, how he drank this I will never understand. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - SEP 3, 2011
On draft at Brass Tap Wesley Chapel. Pours a medium yellow with a white head. Nose is lighter malts, some caramel, citrus/ lemon, and dill. Flavor is big dill with some light malt and citrus. Light to medium in body and not really my kind of pale ale.
