Cloudy brown beer. Light semi dry palate with moderate carbonation. Raspberry that is neither sweet nor tart providing a mellow start. A little mild sourness kicks in along with a balancing unsweet oak. Finshes mellow raspberry and warming alcohol. Best when a little chilled this one. Enjoyed it - not too bloody sour!
750 ml bottle. Ruby red, medium reddish brown head that quickly disappears. Aroma of intense raspberry jelly that has turned sour. Taste has a ton of fruit, progresses to a dry sourness with lemon and dirt. Nice. cgarvieuk (24465) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 23, 2009
