2012 vintage, bottle from the Beer Store in Southampton, PA. Cherry-copper pour; largely raspberry/cherry/yeast funk aroma. Strong tartness; highly acidic raspberry, bretty yeast funk. Mouth-puckering sour/tartness leads into a vinegar finish. Quite good; obnoxiously expensive.

Aroma is bad fruit. Taste is odd, there’s definitely raspberry flavor there, but without any of the brightness or sweetness one would associate with raspberries. There’s also an odd, almost garbage flavor, like produce that’s gone bad or something. Some tartness as well, as would be expected for the style. 2012 version. Pours dark amberred, no real foam. Smell is milksourbacteria, oak, fruityness. Taste is intense sour ( milksour) strog oak aspects. Rather intense fruityness. Bottle shared by a friend. Pours clear reddish amber with a thin off-white head. Nose consists of malt, raspberry and funk. Malty flavor giving way to sweet raspberry before a nicely sour finish.
