COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Inspired by a classic beverage blending lemonade and iced tea, Sexy Motherpucker is a 7.5% ABV sour ale with bright citrus notes. Amber hued, tangy and dry on the palate, this tart beer nicely balances sour and malt with a late addition of Citra hops to give it a nice citrus kick in both flavor and aroma.

Cherries, well balanced, light cola color. No head or lacing but certainly refreshing. On tap at Stacked.

04.11.2017, 12 oz bottle @ home:
Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, sour winegum, grass, fruit stones, overripe dark fruits, dark malts, soda powder, black currants. Taste is dry sour-ish fruity, soda powder, fruit stones, overripe dark fruits, dark malts, grass, minerals, sour winegum, berry skin, hay. Medium bitterness, slightly dry and harsh sour-ish mouthfeel. Kind of weird, not really my cup of tea.

Bottle 355ml @ home

Pours dark reddish brown with a small off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, bread, herbal and hint of citrus. Taste is light to medium sweet and light sour with a long caramel, bread and herbal finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

12 oz bottle, pours dark brown. Lemon nose and tart tea taste. Finish is lingering and not great.

This brew is a clear mahogany color with a medium off-white head that recedes quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Herbal and citrusy aroma with some malt in the background. Medium body with flavors of lemon, charred malt, slight hops and and yeast. The finish is lemony and malty. Decent overall. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampler at Malted Barley Providence. Pours dark brown with a khaki head. Leaves trace lacing in the glass. Lemon and tart notes on the nose and tongue. Not getting much influence that's supposed to replicate iced tea. Finish lingers a bit. A rare miss from Weyerbacher.

12oz bottle from Total Wine in Brookfield. No bottle date. Pours a purple reddish brown, if that is a color, with little head. Aroma of plum, sweet malts, spices, umami, and something strange. Definitely a different blend. Taste is tart berries, sweet and stone fruits, light sweet malts, spices. Not really superior to the nose as the flavors are all muddled, however there is not the strangely offensive part as the nose brings. Medium bodied with a touch of an alcohol presence, the blend is just ok. Finishes fairly tart and dryly short. This was not too good (old? bad?). 12.4

Draft at Growler Garage celebrating anniversary a day early. Pretty potent sour with lots of tart lemon and you definitely get the cites hops too. Bold and tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

FROTHINGSLOSH (8176) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 2, 2017
Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured an almost black color with a medium sized foamy beige head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was tea, lemon and a touch of wood. The flavor was very tart and sour with a bit of malt, tea, some earthiness, cherry, lemon and strong astringency. Long tart tea and lemon finish. Medium body. Odd.

Not very good. Since I love sour anything this is probably rated higher than it should. Aroma was weird. Malt vinegar is the best way to describe it. Pour was a dark hazy brown with amber hues and a thin off white ring for a head. Taste was same as the aroma. The sourness was big and in your face (which I love) but that malt vinegar flavor along with the burnt caramel finish just didn't work with how sour this beer was. Good carbonation.
